Travel Insurance

If you are visiting Spain or the Almuñécar area for a vacation, holiday or a scoping trip for your move, you will likely want to be protected with Travel Insurance.   We recommend World Nomads Insurance and have used it several times ourselves.  Find out now, if you should buy travel insurance.

Feel free to obtain a quick quote, to see how much it would be for your upcoming Trip.

Why buy travel insurance from World

  1. Backed by specialist insurers and global assistance partners
  2. Buy Online, even if you’ve already left home
  3. Extend and claim online while travelling
  4. Covers a range of adventure sports and activities
  5. Give a little back and support a community development project

Health Insurance / Medical Insurance

Of course if you are living in Spain and are a non-EU citizen, you will likely need to provide proof of Medical or Health Insurance Coverage.   Depending on the plan you purchase, you will likely have full coverage for hospitalization, repatriation, dental, optical and more.

This is usually obtaining prior to your residency approval and you can likely purchase insurance in your home country.  We have an extensive post about the options available for those living in Spain.  We also will let you know which Medical Insurance Wagoners Abroad has purchased in the past and what we are currently using in Spain.  You won’t believe how inexpensive it is to have full health coverage in Spain!

We hope you enjoy your time in Spain!
