The Feria is a Fair with some carnival rides and traditional activities and celebrations. This is usually several days long and it is the week leading up to the respective patron saint’s day.

Public School Holidays
The public schools usually run from the second week in September through the third week in June. They are typically closed for all of the national holidays and some of the local holidays. If one of those days happens to land on a Tuesday or Thursday, the schools may opt to have an additional day off (the Monday or Friday) to bridge the weekend.
