What better way to experience a bit of local culture than to visit a historic Roman Aqueduct and also enjoy a wine tasting.

Roman Aqueduct

See one of the best preserved and largest Roman aqueducts around Almuñécar, just outside of town along the River Seco.  This is located in El Torreon Restaurante near the Santa Cruz Resort and Spa.  You will enjoy a guided walk from to Bodega Vinacoteca La Princesa in la Finca La Santa Cruz to the Aqueduct, with locals Ana or Carlos.  They will share with you the history and discovery of the aqueducts.
