It’s nearly a week full of food, drinks, music, carnival rides, and a procession. It all ends on August 15th with the biggest night in Almuñécar ‘s list of annual festivals and the most spectacular fireworks display around!

While we aren’t aware of any dedicated vegetarian restaurants in La Herradura, there are many who are vegetarian friendly. If they don’t specifically have something on the menu, be sure to ask to alter their menu items. For example, even when you order a salad, you need to be careful, as many come with ham or tuna. Just specify when you order, as all of the La Herradura restaurants are very friendly.

If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, then you are in for a treat at Restaurante El Árbol Blanco (The White Tree). El Arbol Blanco offers you a cozy atmosphere, along with excellent service and delicious food. The restaurants are owned and run by 2 brothers, Nacho (Manager and head waiter) and Jorge (The main chef). Each time we have visited, we enjoyed a scrumptious multiple-course menu, which tantalized our taste buds.
