When getting settled into your new place, you will likely be on the lookout for the local furniture stores. There are a few small stores with limited selections right in town or you have the option of traveling to some of the larger stores.
Furniture Stores
Muebles Mavil (Town Center)
This is the largest furniture store you will find in Almuñécar. When someone says to you don’t judge a book by the cover, this is true for this store too. From the outside it appears to be a standard furniture store with a few sofas, a couple of dining room tables and a few mattresses, but it is so much more.
Once you enter, you soon realize the store is much larger than it appears. They have the store divided into areas by the rooms of the home. So in one section you will find many different beds, mattresses, pillows and the like. Another area has couches, love seats, sofas, sofa beds and items for the living area. Next you will see many dining tables, as well as furnishing for storage, tables, desks, outdoor furniture, and more. Of course, there are also many decorative and stylish items as well, all very high quality. But that’s not all!
There is also a downstairs area that is even larger than the main floor showroom. It was a big surprise to see the store just keep going and going, with so many furniture options! Downstairs are mainly items on offer, discounted or on sale, so do check them out. Even if you aren’t in the market to buy furniture right now, it is worth stopping in to see the options they have available. They are located off of Avenida Europe, one block down from the Municipal Market. View Muelbes Mavil in our business directory for more information, including hours, address, phone and photos.
Muebles Loga
They have a good selection of furniture, with reasonable prices. Located on Avenida Costa del Sol 31- 40 958 635 812
Of course in the bigger cities about 45 – 60 minutes away, Málaga or Granada, you will find more options. We tend to like the selection in Málaga a bit more, but it is a matter of preference. In Málaga you will of course find IKEA as well. This is located near the airport and the Plaza Mayor shopping center.
