Every summer you are in for a treat on the Costa Tropical. That’s because of the annual La Caña Flamenca! This is a festival with a series of Flamenco performances over the summer months, on the Costa Tropical. La Caña Flamenca on the Costa Tropoical 2022
As we all know, Granada is known for Flamenco, which is and integral part of the Spanish culture, traditions, and life!
La Caña Flamenca is the largest summer flamenco series on the Granada coast. This event usually spans from June through August, with various dates, venues, and artists. Time and time again, it continues to be known as a great way to take part in the local culture and traditions. It is certainly one of the highlighted summer events on the Granada coast!
When is La Caña Flamenca?
June 11 – August 27, 2022
This annual event began in 2017 and is usually held over several nights from June through August. Detailed program here.
In 2022 there are a total of 12 concerts in the series. Six of them are free and the others are very affordable prices.

Where are the venues located?
The 5th annual La Caña Flamenca on the Costa Tropical will be held in Almuñécar at El Majuelo Park, where you can sit outside under the stars, with the back drop of el Castillo San Miguel. You may also take the bus from La Herradura to Almuñécar.

In addition, you may see performances for the La Caña Flamenca in Torrenueva Costa. The outdoor venue is located on the west end of town, near the N340, with plenty of parking available.
