Luz de Luna La Herradura will present you with hundreds of candles dancing in the night, lining the picturesque stone pedestrian streets in the old town. It is also, time to do some shopping, with artisan booths selling crafts and wares.

This event has so much charm and ambiance with the night market. As you meander the narrow pedestrian streets of La Herradura, you can shop, socialize and admire the beauty of the village. This event is a Maritime market that commenced in 2015 and coincides with the events for Fiestas Virgen del Carmen. The fiesta of the patron saint of sailors, Virgen del Carmen.
This market is similar to a medieval market, but with a different flair. The Luz de Luna is the sailor market (Maritime Market) creating a magical atmosphere in the alleys of the old town. You will see many booths with handicrafts such as jewelry, toys, clothing, sweets, medicinal plants, and other crafts.
In addition, there are plenty of interactive activities, children’s entertainment and workshops for the whole family. It is an environment for the senses and set in the heart of the village with traditional Spanish homes and handmade streets. Sometimes you can also find entertainment and demonstrations like a fire show, walking on nails or glass, archery and face painting.
