This is a good 1/2 day activity from Almuñécar and you are in for a sweet treat, all about sugar in Spanish. Just a little to the east within Costa Tropical, you can experience the sugarcane past of Motril. Of course you could also go hit the bigger malls in Vélez-Málaga, the Nevada shopping mall in Granada or Larios shopping mall in Málaga. If you are looking for something a bit closer to Almuñécar then Motril should do the trick. There is far more than just a visit to Al Campo.
