Feb/March        Carnival
March 19            Fiestas San Jose (Feria de La Herradura)
March/April      Semana Santa
June 23              Night of San Juan – Bonfires and Camping on the Beaches
(According to tradition, if people jump over a bonfire three times on San Juan’s
night, they will be cleansed and purified, and their problems burned away.)

July 16                Day of the Virgen Carmen
August  15           Fiesta de la Virgen de la Antigua
September 29     Fiesta de San Miguel
Sept/October      Festival del Mar (festival of the sea) (La Herradura) Usually on the weekend late September or early October
